Impressions from visiting the JFR 2025 exhibition

07.10.2025

APEIRON employees traditionally strive to keep abreast of all current trends in the market for medical goods and consumables.

Today, we would like to share with you our impressions of visiting the JFR 2025 exhibition, which took place in Paris (France) from October 3 to 6, 2025.

The JFR 2025 exhibition is an international congress that has become a significant event in the field of medical imaging.
This year, the congress attracted more than 12,000 participants, bringing together some of the most influential, innovative, and recognizable companies and key players in the industry.

Perhaps it is worth noting that the main trend today is the rapid development and implementation of new technologies. Today, there is a trend toward many completely new digital solutions that significantly improve medical diagnostics.

Technologies that attracted the most interest from visitors:

* DR (Digital Radiography) is an advanced X-ray imaging method that uses digital flat-panel detectors to capture images instantly, converting X-ray energy into digital data for immediate viewing, storage, and manipulation on a computer, replacing traditional film and cassette systems for faster, more efficient, and often lower-dose imaging in medical, dental, and industrial fields.

* PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) in healthcare is a digital system that stores, retrieves, manages, and distributes medical images (like X-rays, CTs, MRIs) and their associated reports, replacing film-based systems for improved efficiency, faster access, and better collaboration among doctors, eliminating physical film handling.

* AI in healthcare is used for diagnostics (analyzing images for early disease detection), treatment (personalized plans, drug discovery), operations (automating admin, scheduling, resource allocation), patient engagement (virtual assistants, remote monitoring), and predictive analytics (forecasting disease risk).

The event was aimed at French speakers. We visited numerous stands of reputable manufacturers, studied the latest developments in radiology and ultrasound, and made many useful contacts. Many trading companies were also spotted at the exhibition – there is great potential for cooperation.
